Luke Joeckel

Joeckel has a torn MCL, meniscus and could also have a torn ACL as well, though that won't be known until the surgery is performed. He is already on IR so this is not new news in that sense. Jacksonville will probably not re-sign him this offseason after taking him number two overall in the 2013 draft to play left tackle. The rehab process could take a full year with the extent of the damage, if the ACL has to be fixed too, which could make him a risky bet as a free agent acquisition.

Jaguars Tackle Luke Joeckel left the facility on Tuesday on crutches and his leg in a brace. It has now been confirmed that Joeckel will undergo knee surgery and will be placed on Injured Reserved. Bad news for Joeckel and the Jaguars offensive line.

Bad news for Tackle Luke Joeckel of the Jaguars. He left the Jaguars facility on Tuesday using crutches with his entire left leg in a brace. This obviously, isn't good for the Jaguars and their former first round draft pick in 2013.

Joeckel left the game earlier in the first half with a knee injury and was originally ruled as questionable to return but it appears as though he's done for the day. We should know more about his condition in the coming days but the fact that he was unable to return to today's game is not a great sign moving forward.
