Lawrence Thomas

Thomas has basically been providing depth on the defensive line for the Jets to this point in his rookie season, but this could make the unit a bit shallow going forward.

Much like Jalin Marshall, Thomas was held out of practice on Wednesday due to a shoulder injury. He had an MRI done on his shoulder on Monday but there's been no news about the extent of his injury and whether or not he will miss significant time. The undrafted rookie out of Michigan State left the Jets game against the Chiefs early due to the injury, and we should know more about his condition moving forward once the injury report is out.

The Jets have plenty of talent on the defensive line, but they find themselves down 14 heading into halftime. Thomas's status for the rest of the game is up in the air right now. Hopefully the injury isn't too serious and he can return for the second half.
