Lardarius Webb
Player News
Webb officially announced his retirement Saturday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Webb was originally let go by the Ravens in March of 2018 and was unable to find a new team. In nine seasons with Baltimore, he appeared in 127 games and notched 15 interceptions and one touchdown.
Ladarius Webb is out for the remainder of Week 7 with a hamstring injury.
Huff will replace Webb as Webb will be out for the rest of the game with a hamstring injury. Unfortunately the injuries just keep piling up for the Ravens.
Lardarius Webb will remain with Baltimore despite the high cap number for the 2016 season.
The Ravens will move Webb over to play safety full time during the 2016 season. It is surprising that Baltimore was willing to take the $10 million dollar cap hit especially knowing that the Ravens' $6.1 million cap space is the second worst in the league behind Buffalo. Ozzie Newsome has his work cut out for him this off-season.
Lardarius Webb will start the offseason at safety.
The Ravens have been looking to fill that center field void left after Ed Reed retired, and who better to replace him than an aging cornerback? Webb was at one time a top-tier DB in this league, but with declining play over the last couple of seasons, he has become a loss leader for this Baltimore payroll. Hopefully the positional change ignites a fire in the 30-year old.
