Player News
Ladarius Green is inactive for Sunday's game.
Green is still in the league's concussion protocol, and as a result, is inactive for tonight's game against the Patriots. Green's pass-catching ability and athleticism would surely cause some matchup problems for the Patriots but unfortunately for the Steelers, he isn't able to go tonight. Pittsburgh will turn to Jesse James at tight end, who has shown the ability to produce at a high level on multiple occasions in 2016.
Ladarius Green (concussion) is not expected to play Sunday.
Green has not been able to get on the field for better than a month due to a concussion, and that is not expected to change for Sunday's AFC Championship game against the Patriots. Jesse James, who hauled in 5-of-6 targets for 83 yards in the Divisional Round win over the Chiefs, will be the top tight end for the Steelers once again.
Ladarius Green (concussion) is questionable for Sunday's AFC Championship Game.
Green has been out since week 15, and he remains in the concussion protocol heading into Sunday's game against the Patriots. He will more than likely remain out, increasing Jesse James' value. James produced five receptions for 83 yards against a Chiefs defense who was solid all year against the TE. He is a top option if Green does not suit up.
Ladarius Green practiced Friday, but he is still in the concussion protocol.
Green will need to pass an independent doctors final exam before being cleared to play in Sunday's AFC Championship game against the Patriots. If Green is unable to go then Jesse James will be the Steelers primary tight end.
