Fackrell signed a one-year deal with the Raiders after playing a rotational role for the Chargers in 2021. He notched three sacks across 13 games with the Bolts. Fackrell was going to compete for the third EDGE slot in Vegas this year. 

After registering four sacks on over 600 snaps for the 2020 Giants, Fackrell inked a one-year deal with the Bolts last offseason and picked up three sacks as a rotational edge piece. He'll fill the same role in Vegas behind starters Maxx Crosby and Chandler Jones.

Fackrell was on injured reserve for exactly one month with his calf injury. The Giants are in a must-win game on Sunday and could use Fackrell off the edge even if he isn't at 100% health. He was a near every-down player before his injury.

Free agent addition Fackrell has been an every-down player this season. He is now ineligible to return before Week 16. Fackrell's absence will be a negative for the Giants' run defense as they try to win the horrid NFC East.
