Knowshon Moreno

It appears that he feels the torn ACL that cost him all of 2015 and ended his season in Week 6 of 2014 has fully healed. NFL teams will likely be skeptical that his knees can hold up to the stress imposed on running back. He may catch on with some team as insurance, but do not expect him back as a lead back in 2016.

Wonderful for him, but which team will take a chance on him? He probably is a late round RB pick this season, but until he signs with a team, he is not fantasy relevant in 2016.

After rushing for 134 yards in week one against the Patriots, Knowshon Moreno only gained 14 more yards the remainder of the season for the Dolphins. With the news he may miss the entire 2015 season, teams will be hesitant to sign him going forward. Moreno is a free agent but also suffered a torn ACL in 2011. Since he is only 27 there could be time for a comeback, but it appears that will not occur until 2016.

The Dolphins are trying to keep their options open as they don;t intend to ride Lamar Miller on his own. If Moreno can be a decent complement to him in the backfield, the Dolphins could probably land him for a cheap price since few teams seem interested. Believe it or not, though, but Moreno would be the second option to Miller who has numerous shortcomings of his own. Yes, your mind has just been blown.
