Seymour was with the Commanders last season, but was suspended six games for violating the NFL’s Performance-Enhancing Substances Policy. The 31-year-old has primarily been a special-teamer throughout his career, spending time with the Bills, Panthers, Eagles, and Ravens prior to joining the Commanders. Seymour will once again offer special teams help for Washington in 2025.

He’ll be eligible for reinstatement ahead of Washington’s Week 13 game against the Titans. Seymour has not played a defensive snap this year and is mostly a special teamer, with 155 special teams snaps with the Ravens last year and 17 with the Commanders in 2024.

Seymour spent the first three weeks on the Ravens' practice squad. The 28-year-old appeared in nine games with the Ravens last year, posting 25 tackles and one sack. Seymour should see most of his snaps on special teams if active.
