Free agent S Kavon Frazier announced his retirement.
Frazier entered the league as a sixth-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 2016. The former Central Michigan Chippewa appeared in 44 games with the Cowboys over four seasons and also spent time with the Dolphins, Bengals and Raiders. Frazier took to Twitter to announce his retirement on Friday, saying that his family and new business endeavors are where he wants to focus his energy.

The Bengals also moved on from Freedom Akinmoladun, Eric Dungey, Lamont Gaillard, and Cheyenne O’Grady in order to get down to an 80-man roster. Frazier hasn't started a game since 2018 but did appear in 15 contests for Miami last year. He primarily played special teams with the Dolphins but can serve as a reserve option at safety if needed.

The former sixth-round pick of the Cowboys, Frazier spent four seasons in Dallas before going to Miami for a one-year stop. He’s played just 66 snaps on defense over the last two seasons and will mainly contribute on special teams.
