Juwan Thompson

Thompson is getting the promotion due to C.J. Anderson hitting the IR this week. He has the skills to produce at the NFL level, but the Broncos are expected to rely on Devontae Booker as their main RB when they take on the Chargers at home on Sunday.

Thompson surprisingly wasn't claimed off waivers by another team and will be signed to Denver's practice squad. Denver recently cut Ronnie Hillman and will look to keep familiar face Juwan Thompson within the organization as they'll need RB depth.

Thompson finds himself down on the Broncos depth chart despite their struggles running the ball. If he remains healthy he could begin to see some more carries as C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman continue to be inconsistent.
