2024 Player Outlook
It was a disappointing season for Justin Herbert in 2023 as he appeared in just 13 games while throwing for 3,134 yards with 20 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Bad news keeps coming for Herbert as this offseason saw a new head coach and new offensive coordinator come in with Jim Harbaugh returning to the NFL and bringing Greg Roman with him. These two love to run the football and in turn the let Austin Ekeler and Mike Williams walk in free agency and then traded away Keenan Allen. It's hard to envision Herbert throwing the football enough to be all that appealing this season with his top targets being rookie Ladd McConkey, Josh Palmer and last year's first round pick Quentin Johnston who has a lot to prove this upcoming season. It would not shock me to see Herbert finish outside the top 12 fantasy QB's this season.
