Jude Adjei-Barimah
Player News
Jude Adjei-Barimah will be suspended four games by the NFL.
Here comes another blow to the poor pass rush for the Bucs in 2016. He's registered two sacks and a forced fumble this season but will now sit on the sideline for the stretch run of the season. He will be able to return to the Tampa defense in Week 16 for the penultimate game of the regular season.
Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter said CB Jude Adjei-Barimah has moved ahead of CB Johnthan Banks on the depth chart as the team’s fourth cornerback.
The second-year defensive back acquitted himself well in his rookie season, collecting 41 tackles over thirteen games. Starters Brent Grimes and Alterraun Verner and slot corner Vernon Hargreaves are now ahead of him on the depth chart, but Adjei-Barimah is making a solid impression on the coaching staff.
Buccaneers have promoted CB Jude Adjei-Barimah to the active roster.
To make room for him, the team waived backup left tackle Reid Fragel. The Bucs need depth at corner with Johnthan Banks doubtful for Sunday's game.
Buccaneers have released CB Jude Adjei-Barimah, DE Ryan Delaire, DT Caushaud Lyons, WR Donteea Dye and KR Kaelin Clay.
Just some house cleaning for the Bucs here as they look to trim the roster down in preparation of the start of the season. No one here is of any sort of impact, so fantasy owners can relax.
