Jordan Todman

Frank Gore is still the man in town, but Todman gives the team depth at the position. Todman was irrelevant for a big portion of last year until the Steelers turned to him in the postseason and he carried a big load for the offense. He'll make his due as a backup and will likely be a part of the Colts special teams.

Todman will likely be the third-string running back in Pittsburgh until Le'Veon Bell returns. Todman's skills pretty much mirror Dri Archer, and for that reason alone, Todman is unlikely to play much.

Jonathan Stewart, Fozzy Whitaker, and Cameron Artis-Payne will all have a more comfortable elevator ride with the Todman's release. I am sure they are crying over it.

Todman left practice on Friday with an illness but should be fine in a couple of days.
