Giants released C Jonotthan Harrison.
The Giants signed Harris to a hefty reserve/futures contract in January. He has experience at both center and tackles in his seven pro seasons. With 42 starts to his name, Harrison will land on a practice squad in short order. The Giants also waived/released OT Kenny Wiggins, OG Jake Burton, and C Brett Heggie.
Giants signed C Jonotthan Harrison to a reserve/futures contract.
Harrison signed for $2 million, the exceedingly rare futures deal over the minimum. Harrison, 29, has played for the Colts and Jets during his seven years in the league, lining up at center and tackle. He was a regular starter for much of the 2018 and 2019 seasons with the Jets. Signing for over the minimum would indicate that Harrison has a shot to make the Giants' active roster in 2021.
Jonotthan Harrison has been ruled out for Week 5 against Chicago.
Harrison is recovering from an appendectomy that is expected to keep him out for at least a couple of weeks.
Jonotthan Harrison suffered a concussion in Sunday's game.
The Colts\' offensive line was very good Sunday, as Andrew Luck was sacked just once and the Colts averaged 4.6 yards per carry. Luck could be in for a long day against the Broncos if Harrison is out.
