Bears claim Johnathan Banks off waivers.

Lions have waived CB Johnthan Banks.
Banks was acquired by Detroit about a month ago from Tampa. Banks is only 27 years old so it's possible he gets picked up by another team. He was waived along with Justin Forsett so the Lions could make room for T.J. Jones and Armonty Bryant.

The former second-round pick hasn't made nearly the same impact the past two seasons -- including this one -- as he did in his rookie and sophomore seasons. Banks hasn't even appeared in a game for the Bucs this year and was a healthy scratch this past week against the Raiders.
