Jerry earned first-team reps at left guard during Saturday's practice, Tyler Dragon of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Jerry appears to have the upper hand on the competition at left guard as training camp commences, displacing Christian Westerman to a backup role.
Jerry signed a contract with the Bengals on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Jerry is entering his ninth season in the league after being waived by the Giants -- where he spent three years -- at the beginning of last season. The veteran will look to compete for a depth role during training camp.
