The 49ers have also sent reserve OL Hroniss Grasu to the list. With the Niners on bye this week, hopefully both will be back for Week 12.  

Walker started the final 10 games of the season for the Cardinals last year after Haason Reddick was injured. Walker, 27, received extremely poor marks from Pro Football Focus for both his run defense and pass coverage. Arizona upgraded on Walker with De'Vondre Campbell in free agency last week.

Walker was a seventh-round pick of the Eagles in 2016 and landed in Arizona in September of 2018 after his original team waived him. Solely a special-teamer last season, he worked his way into a regular role this past fall, supplanting Haason Reddick as a starting inside linebacker Week 7 and holding onto the job thereafter. Walker's output was inconsistent, as he reached double-digit tackles on two occasions but also fell shy of six stops five times over the last 10 games. Walker is an exclusive-rights free agent this offseason, so he'll only be able to sign with the Cardinals if the team opts to tender him a contract.

After being limited during Thursday's session, Walker practiced fully Friday and appears all set to take the field for Sunday's divisional clash with the Seahawks. A week ago, the linebacker compiled seven tackles (five solo) and forced a fumble.
