He joins Myles Garrett, Chris Hubbard and Andy Janovich on the Browns' COVID list. In theory, it creates depth issues, though Jackson has not played a defensive snap since Week 4. 

Dallas also cut RB Darius Anderson, TE Cole Hikutini, and OG Cody Wichmann. The No. 165 overall pick in last year's draft, Jackson appeared in five games and got in on 71 defensive snaps as a rookie. With the Cowboys adding Everson Griffen and Aldon Smith this offseason and taking Bradlee Anae in the fifth round, Jackson is off the squad.
