Jaguars signed WR Jaydon Mickens.
This is likely a direct result of Jamal Agnew's season-ending injury. Mickens is a special teams-only player who doesn't contribute much on offense. The Buccaneers cut Mickens in October and gave their return duties to rookie Jaelon Darden. Mickens should step in as the Jaguars' primary kick and punt returner.
Bucs released KR Jaydon Mickens.
Mickens was the Bucs' primary returner on both punts and kickoffs but he didn't offer any utility on offense. Rookie receiver Jaelon Darden will take on those duties with Mickens no longer around.

Bucs head coach Bruce Arians said WR Jaydon Mickens (abdomen) would not travel with the team to face the Rams in Week 3.
Primarily a kicker returner, Mickens had a chance to see some receiver snaps this week with Antonio Brown (COVID-19) sidelined (Brown hasn't been ruled out yet). Brown's absence will open up snaps and routes for Tyler Johnson and Scotty Miller, who led Tampa in receiving yards and air yards before Brown joined the team last year in Week 9.
