Player News
Colts DB Jalil Brown was released Sunday.
The Colts are in need of depth at defensive back and unfortunately couldn't wait around for Brown's knee to be 100% healthy.
Jalil Brown (knee) will not play Saturday.
Brown is dealing with a nagging knee injury that will keep him out of Saturday's game. The Colts will be reaching pretty far down the depth chart for defensive backs in this game, which is good for the guys trying to fight for roster spots. The Colts recently signed Antonio Cromartie to a 1-year deal, but he will not be playing Saturday either.
Jalil Brown (ankle) will not play in Saturday's preseason game.
Brown's ankle issue also kept him from playing in the Colts' first preseason game last week as well. The sixth-year defensive back played in eight games (four starts) for the Colts last season, coming up with 19 tackles and three pass defenses.
Jalil Brown is dealing with an ankle injury.
Brown has already been ruled out for the Colts 1st preseason game. Brown is entering his 3rd professional stint with Indianapolis and started just 4 games with the Colts last season.
