Jalen Collins
Player News
Collins was promoted to the Colts' 53-man roster Saturday.
Collins joined the Colts' practice squad in mid-November as he was suspended for the first 10 games of the season. The 25-year-old has been suspended four times since being drafted during the second round in 2015, and has been a free agent since being released by Atlanta late in 2017. Collins receives a chance on an NFL roster for Week 17, though he is unlikely to play a significant defensive role with a playoff berth on the line.
Jalen Collins (knee) is questionable to return.
The Falcons will likely hold Collins out for the rest of the game. The 4th quarter just got underway, but Atlanta has a 42-7 lead over Los Angeles. Collins's injury could prove costly despite struggling at times. The Atlanta secondary could be picked apart any game with a viable QB airing it out against them. There's no word yet on the severity of Collins's injury.
Jalen Collins listed as a starting cornerback in Week 10.
With starting cornerback Desmond Trufant set to miss today's game due to injury, Collins will get the start today in his absence. Collins, who was a second-round pick back in 2015 out of LSU, has started just twice in the 18 games that he's been active for in his two-year career. He draws a tough matchup today in a Philadelphia passing game that has been able to move the ball well against lesser defenses in 2016.
CB Jalen Collins is inactive for Week 5.
Collins was set to return from a 4-game suspension, but will have to wait another week before making his 2016 debut. There's no word whether the inactive status is due to an injury or not.
