Eagles signed K Jake Elliott to a four-year, $24 million contract extension.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the deal ties Elliott with Justin Tucker for the crown of highest-paid kicker in NFL history. Elliott went 30-of-32 on field goal tries this year, with only one of his two misses coming from inside 50 yards. He hit all but one of his 46 PATs. The veteran kicker also takes kickoffs for Philly. Despite the Eagles’ downturn in 2023, Elliott was a top-five fantasy kicker. He will rank among the league’s top fantasy options at the position heading into 2024.
Eagles restructured K Jake Elliott's contract.
The Eagles save $2.492 million against the cap with the restructuring of Elliott's deal. The veteran kicker converted on 20-of-23 field goal attempts for the Eagles last season and has converted on 89.3% of his field goal attempts since 2021.
K Jake Elliott (ankle) is off Philadelphia's final Week 6 injury report.
He'll be Philadelphia's kicker for Week 6's game against the Cowboys after missing Week 5. He's not a terrible streamer, but Dallas' defense has been imposing enough that it's hard to call him an easy streamer for Week 6 if he was dropped in your league.
Jake Elliott (ankle) was limited in Thursday's practice.
Elliott did kick at Eagles practice per several reporters on the scene with video evidence. There's been no mention of Elliott's status in interviews so far. Cameron Dicker is the backup Eagles kicker and would get another go against the Cowboys if Elliott can't go.
