Jacquies Smith

After leaving during Week 1's contest, Smith has been placed on IR after being diagnosed with a tear in his ACL. It's unfortunate loss for the Bucs who has 13.5 sacks for the team over the last two seasons.

Smith left the game against the Falcons with a knee injury and he will not be able to return to this game. He had 4 sacks in the preseason this year for the Bucs, but unfortunately won't be able to contribute for the rest of today.

Smith is hoping to build off his sophomore season in which he collected seven sacks in 12 games. The defensive end has sack upside in IDP formats, but due to his struggles in the run game his overall ceiling is low.

Now that Smith has signed his exclusive rights free agent tender, he's only able to negotiate with his former team which is the Buccaneers. Smith has been very good in the two years he's been in the league. He has 13.5 sacks in his first two professional seasons, has forced four fumbles and recovered four as well.
