One of the biggest busts in recent NFL history, Wilson hasn’t appeared in a game since he made one appearance as a 2020 first-rounder for the Titans. His NFL career is over.

Wilson was the 29th overall pick in last year's draft by the Titans but played just three snaps with the team after a couple stints on the COVID list and a DUI before he was traded to Miami for a seventh-round pick swap in March. Wilson lasted less than two weeks with the Dolphins. He was a first-round pick for a reason, but Wilson's career couldn't have gotten off to a worse start. It's a worthwhile flier for a talent-deficient Giants roster. Wilson is still just 22 years old.

Wilson has been out of the league after getting waived from the Dolphins and going unclaimed this offseason. The 2020 first-round pick has appeared in just one game due to stints on NFI and COVID-19 lists. The Colts are Wilson's first visit since his Miami release.

A few days before the Titans played the Ravens in the Wild Card Round, Wilson was arrested at gunpoint and charged with myriad violations, including "fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer for a felony offense; speeding in a construction zone; reckless driving; marijuana possession of less than one ounce; possession and use of drug-related objects; and reckless conduct," according to Glennon. Wilson told a police officer “that he had past experiences with law enforcement recently and he was scared,” according to the police report. Wilson was released the next day on $7,000 bond. The Titans this month traded Wilson and a 2022 seventh round pick to Miami for a 2020 seventh round pick. He was subsequently waived by the Dolphins and went unclaimed on waivers. Wilson, the No. 29 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, is unlikely to play again in the NFL.
