Isaiah Pead’s injuries from his car accident will prevent him from playing again. A part of his leg had to be amputated.
The extent of the injuries are unknown, but Pead was not wearing a seat belt. Pead was trying to latch on with another team prior to the accident. Here's to him being able to completely recover and live a normal life moving forward.
Isaiah Pead is in critical condition after being involved in an auto accident on Saturday morning.
The single car crash happened around 2:30am Saturday morning. The former Dolphins and Rams running-back has recently tried out for the Chiefs this past week. We wish Isaiah Pead a quick and healthy recovery from his accident.

Although most of us can agree that Matt Jones is talented, he accounted for three fumbles in Week 7. Pead's workout is a message from the coaching staff and front office that no one is above being replaced when it comes to turning the ball over. Jones will likely have his work cut into a bit more if he cannot hang onto the football going forward.
