Isa Abdul-Quddus

The safety totaled 78 tackles to go along with a sack and two interceptions in 15 games for the Dolphins. This will be a tough blow heading into the playoffs as the Dolphins will use two backup safeties for the remainder of the season.

Abdul-Quddus suffered a neck injury in Saturday's game and did not return to action. He collided with Bills' Tight End Charles Clay but was able to leave the field under his own power. Abdul-Quddus had been dealing with a neck injury for the past several weeks so the Dolphins will probably play it safe going forward.

He successfully turned a half season audition at starter in Detroit into a cool $12.75 million over three years in Miami. Abdul-Quddus has been a name that's been around for a few years but now he will be the Week 1 starter at strong safety for a revamping Dolphins defense in 2016.

Abdul-Quddus was one of several injuries the Lions suffered against the Bears on Sunday. Although they won it was not a pretty game for Detroit and they lost so many due to injury that it's hard to say they ended the season on a completely positive note.
