Harry Douglas

Although Harry Douglas was dealing with an ankle injury, he led the Titans in reception yards in a loss to the Texans. If not for the fumble he had, it might not have been such a bad day, but he wasn't expected to do much anyways, so there shouldn't be much disappointment among fantasy players.

There are a lot of receivers in Tennessee, making it tough to determine who is going to be THE guy on any given Sunday. Douglas caught his second touchdown of the season in this one, but managed just 29 receiving yards. Despite catching the touchdown in this one, leave him on the waiver wire.

Terry McCormick, a Titans beat writer for nearly two decades, reported on Monday that Douglas expected to practice on Wednesday and he hopes to play on Sunday. Douglas practicing on Wednesday is definitely a positive sign for his status for Sunday's game against the Saints. Eli Manning threw for six touchdowns against the Saints on Sunday, but Marcus Mariota or Zach Metternberger are not anywhere close to as talented as Manning is. With Kendall Wright unlikely to play this week, there is a chance that Douglas could have a very productive game. Douglas is more of a wait-and-see option for daily and seasonal leagues.

Douglas has missed the past two weeks but now with Kendall Wright potentially missing a few games Douglas stands to get a boost in targets. That said the Titans offense has struggled mightily this season so even a boost in targets won't make him a value play in fantasy.
