2024 Player Outlook
The “Gus Bus” was rolling in 2023 as the Ravens running back set career highs in carries (198), yards (810) and touchdowns (13) as the lead back following the season ending injury to J.K. Dobbins. With Baltimore signing Derrick Henry in the offseason the let Edwards, along with Dobbins hit free agency and he wasted no time reuniting with Jim Harbaugh and Greg Roman who are now in Los Angeles. I mention Dobbins because he too joined Edwards on the Chargers where the two will have a shared backfield. Now, Dobbins is coming off back-to-back major injuries so there is a chance that Edwards is the guy to roster and we also know that Greg Roman's offense loves to run the football. If the offense can click under new leadership and with Justin Herbert at QB, I don't see why Edwards wouldn't approach double-digit touchdowns. That said, we definitely need to understand where his floor level of production could end up being.
