Giants activated K Graham Gano from injured reserve.
Gano has missed the previous seven games but will kick for the Giants in Week 10 in Munich after the team activated him from injured reserve. The Giants rank 10th in the league with 1.8 field goals per game, meaning Gano could carry fantasy value for those that continue to compete in leagues that require a starting kicker.
Giants head coach Brian Daboll said K Graham Gano (hamstring) will miss a few weeks.
Gano injured his hamstring on the opening kickoff of New York’s Week 2 game against the Commanders and could not kick for the remainder of the contest. The team will likely host kicker tryouts in the coming days before their Week 3 game against the Browns.
Giants K Graham Gano (hamstring) is doubtful to return in Week 2 against the Commanders.
Gano injured his hamstring on the opening kickoff of the game and was spotted on the sidelines in a ballcap, confirming he is done for the day. Punter Jamie Gilliam will handle kicking duties for the remainder of the day. Gano’s absence will likely force the Giants to go for it in spots that would otherwise kick the field goal or extra point.
The Giants added Graham Gano to the injury report with a groin injury.
The kicker doesn’t have an injury designation for the game, so he’s available to kick and will likely suit up; however, it’s worth monitoring that he’s dealing with some injury. If he reaggravates it during the game, it would obviously change the Giants’ offensive approach.
