Dolphins waived LB Jake Carlock, LB Jamal Davis II, WR Andy Jones, CB Linden Stephens, DT Gerald Willis and WR Terry Wright.
Davis and Stephens each appeared in three games in 2019, while Willis appeared in two games. Nobody else played a regular season snap with the Dolphins.
Willis was placed on injured reserve Friday with a hip injury, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Willis was promoted from the practice squad Nov. 20 and had two tackles in two games before going down with the injury. Tae Hayes was claimed off waivers in a corresponding move.
Willis was promoted to Miami's active roster Wednesday, Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald reports.
Willis figures to make his NFL debut after being promoted to the Dolphins' active roster. The 24-year-old defensive tackle will add depth along Miami's defensive line, though Willis' eventual impact figures to be missed in most fantasy formats.
Willis (calf) has been participating in minicamp, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Willis injured his calf in rookie minicamp this month, but it seems he's since been cleared to practice again. The 23-year-old is competing for a depth role along the Ravens' defensive line.
