The Bills have hired Juan Castillo as their new offensive line coach
Castillo and new Bills head coach Sean McDermott go back to their time in Philadelphia when Castillo replaced him at defensive coordinator in 2011. He then spent the last few years in Baltimore as an assistant on John Harbaugh's staff. He will be the offensive line coach/run game coordinator for the Bills starting in 2017.
Bill have placed C Eric Wood on Injured Reserve.
Eric Wood will be placed on IR with a broken right fibula. He wasn't having the best year compared to his other ones but now the Bills will have to turn to Ryan Groy to start at center.
Eric Wood will have surgery on his broken right fibula on Wednesday.
Wood was carted off the field with a broken leg in Week 9 so this news should not surprise anybody. This surgery will end the season for Eric Wood who Rex Ryan called "the best center in football" when addressing the media after the game.

Wood has started every game for the Bills since 2013 and he has made 104 starts in his eight-year NFL career. The fantasy values of all of the Bills could take a hit as a result, though LeSean McCoy is still a must-start when healthy. Patrick Lewis will likely start at center with Wood out.
