Dominique Easley
Player News
Easley, who was carted off the practice field with a knee injury Tuesday, has suffered a torn ACL and is expected to miss the entire 2017 season, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
Dominique Easley (illness) did not practice Wednesday.
Easley already is a rotational defensive lineman, so this illness will not help his chances of staying on the field on Sunday. He will play in all likelihood, but at what effectiveness?
Rams have signed defensive tackle Dominique Easley to a one-year deal.
Easley was waived by the Patriots prior to the draft, presumably due to his various injury issues since his selection as a first round choice in 2014. The Rams may have found a gem to add to their defensive line if he can stay healthy.
Rams will host DT Dominique Easley for a workout.
Easley was cut last month by the Patriots and the Rams are the first team to bring him in since that time. At just 24 years old he still has a lot of youth on his side, though his knees might say otherwise. Before a deal comes his way, he will have to show that his health isn't an issue for the signing team and then he can be a solid role player for a deep L.A. D-line.
