Delvin Breaux
Player News
Saints place Delvin Breaux (shoulder) on injured reserve.
Unfortunately that will end Breaux's season. The former CFL product enjoyed moderate success with the Saints in his first season in the NFL in 2015, but his 2016 season will be cut short due to a shoulder injury. The Saints have claimed Robensen Therezie off waivers from Atlanta to provide some secondary depth with Breaux going down.
Delvin Breaux (shoulder) was ruled out for Week 16.
Week 16 will be the second straight game that Breaux is missing from the field with the shoulder issue. Though the Saints defense isn't known as being a power house unit, he was still important to covering the top receiver on the opposition, this week being Mike Evans of Tampa Bay. New Orleans did a solid job of shutting down the passing game at times against Arizona a week ago, however Jameis Winston and company offer a tougher challenge.
Delvin Breaux (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 15.
Breaux has been the best option at cornerback for the Saints. However, this isn't saying much for a defense that has been struggling against the pass. Even though the match was already good for the Cardinals but give them all a slight boost now.
Delvin Breaux (Shoulder) did not practice Wednesday.
