David Bruton

A concussion sent Bruton to the IR earlier this year which caused the Redskins to release him. Bruton was rated one of the worst safeties in the league earlier this year so no fantasy relevance here.

Bruton had appeared in four games and recorded 28 tackles, one sack and two pass defenses for the Redskins. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 78 safety out of 82 qualifying players, so it not surprising that the Redskins have waived him.

Bruton was put on injured reserve due to his concussion, and as a result, the Redskins signed veteran safety Donte Whitner. His concussion must have been very serious as he's now going to be out for at least six weeks. Washington's safety depth will surely be tested as they are already missing DeAngelo Hall for the rest of the season.
