Chiefs C Daniel Kilgore retired after ten seasons in the NFL.
Kilgore spent seven seasons with the Niners before playing in Miami and then Kansas City in his final NFL season. Kilgore, 33, struggled through various injuries over this last few years, mostly serving in a rotational role. A 2011 fifth-round draft pick by the 49ers, Kilgore played in two Super Bowls during his ten seasons.

Kilgore was cleared for the Super Bowl after testing negative all week as a high-risk close contact. Chiefs WR Demarcus Robinson has also been removed from the team's COVID list.
ESPN's Cameron Wolfe reports the Dolphins won't pick up their team option on C Daniel Kilgore.
Kilgore will be a free agent at the start of the league year. The nine-year veteran has started 17 games for the Dolphins over the past two seasons. PFF graded Kilgore as the league's 12th-ranked center among 39 qualified players in 2019. Kilgore will be 32 in December.
Kilgore (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game at Indianapolis, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.
Kilgore was a limited practice participant all week and appears to have a good chance of retaking the field Sunday. The 31-year-old has missed the last three games due to the knee issue.
