Bears defensive end Cornelius Washington was arrested. Washington was charged with speeding and driving with a suspended license and was taken to the McDuffie County jail.
Washington\'s role with the Bears is already uncertain with Jared Allen and Lamarr Houston on the team, and incidents like this definitely will not help him win over the organization. In the end though, this run-in with the law is fairly minor compared to say the DUI he was arrested for back in 2011 while still in college. So, as long as he still performs well in practice and stays out of trouble going forward he should not be endanger of being cut.
