Clay Harbor

The Lions sign TE Clay Harbor from the Patriots. This move is meant only for depth and a veteran presence at the tight end position. For Eric Ebron owners, I wouldn't panic. His value doesn't change in this addition Harbor only insurance for the Lions. When Ebron went down in the first quarter last week but later returned in the second quarter to finish the game, that short amount of time probably just scared the coaching staff into signing Harbor.

Clay Harbor was primarily playing special teams, while having to take a back seat to "Gronk" and newly signed Martellus Bennett. Look for him to sign on with another team soon.

Harbor will be buried on the Patriots behind both Rob Gronkowski and Martellus Bennett. He did manage 14 receptions and one touchdown last season as a member of the Jaguars.
