Given the current state of New England's running back depth chart, Michael probably wouldn't be an option for the team unless he's still unsigned during training camp and other players suffer injuries. The 2013 second-round selection was released by Green Bay shortly after the conclusion of the 2017 draft.

This is a new development, as he had avoided the injury report earlier in the week. If he cannot play on Sunday, then the Packers will rely on Ty Montgomery and Aaron Ripkowski to lead the rushing attack against the Falcons. If Michael can play, it could result in Montgomery being shifted forward to the line, as the Green Bay receiving corps are beat up going into the NFC Conference Championship game.

Michael missed the Thursday practice session and doesn't look much better for Friday's either. Michael came over mid-season in a waiver claim from Seattle but hasn't had any effect in the GB backfield since heading to Wisconsin. Ty Montgomery now looks to be the only real answer for Rodgers to hand the ball to against the Bears on Sunday.
