Conte signed a two-year contract with Tampa Bay on Thursday, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Chris Conte (chest) has been ruled out for Sunday's game.
This marks the second straight game he has missed. Keith Tandy will get the start against the Saints on Sunday.

Chris Conte has not missed a game this season but an absence from Friday never bodes well for game availability. His status will be updated prior to the Bucs game and they may have to resort to a reserve safety on Sunday.

Conte may be the worst saftey in the NFL, but that hasn't stopped the Bears and Buccaneers from continuing to play him. Tampa Bay's defense was respectable at times last season, but it will not be good so long as Conte is seeing significant playing time.
