Chimdi Chekwa is questionable to return with a hamstring injury.
A 3rd sting CB for the Dolphins his loss will have minimal impact to the defense.
Dolphins have re-signed Chimdi Chekwa.
Chekwa was with the squad during training camp but was not able to make the roster. Now that Xavien Howard is out after a knee surgery, Chekwa will fill the roster spot in his place. There is not much of an impact with this signing other than a warm body in the defensive secondary.

Chekwa did not play in the preseason, due to injury. That undoubtedly led to this decison to cut ties with the cornerback.
Chimdi Chekwa was injured at practice on Friday and has gone off the field with the trainers for evaluation.
It's unclear what injury Chekwa may have suffered, but it's unlikely to mean much to the Dolphins. He's been awful since the Raiders took him in the 4th round out of Ohio State in 2011.
