Cedrick Wilson Jr. caught 3-of-5 targets for 22 yards in the Saints’ Week 18 loss to the Buccaneeres.
Cedrick Wilson Jr. caught 3-of-4 targets for 17 yards in the Saints’ Week 17 loss to the Raiders.
Despite the paltry stat line, Wilson Jr. tied for the team lead among wide receivers in targets. With Marquez Valdes-Scantling leaving the game with an injury, Wilson Jr. could operate as the Saints’ WR2 next week against the Bucs. This has also become perhaps the worst offense in the NFL with Alvin Kamara out and Spencer Rattler under center, so we’d recommend staying away from Wilson Jr. in all fantasy leagues in Week 18.
Saints WR Cedrick Wilson (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Wilson missed Week 10 with the shoulder injury. Marquez Valdes-Scantling led the Saints’ wideouts in routes and caught three passes for 109 yards and two scores. If you were looking for a reason to keep MVS out of your lineup this week, Wilson’s return potentially taking some routes off the table for Valdez-Scantling should suffice.
Saints declared WR Cedrick Wilson, CB Kool-Aid McKinstry, QB Spencer Rattler, RB Jamaal Williams, LB Jaylan Ford, C Lucas Patrick, and DT Khristian Boyd inactive for Week 10 against the Falcons.
