Player News
Titans place OL Byron Bell on injured reserve.
It's unfortunate news for the Titans and Bell due to an ankle injury. Bell has started at least 12 games in every season since coming into the league including all 16 contests last year for the Titans.
Byron Bell is having surgery on Wednesday to repair his dislocated ankle.
Bell suffered the injury yesterday and will miss the 2016 season as a result.
Byron Bell will likely miss the 2016 season with a left ankle injury.
When it was first reported Tuesday morning it was being described as a gruesome injury but not a lot of details were available. Now it seems that the injury was actually to the ankle and will cost him the whole of the season which is a blow to the Titans as they lose a 16 game starter along on the line in Bell. He was competing for a starting job, likely at right tackle where he played last season, but he was not guaranteed the starting role by any means. He will now have to try and rehab and be ready for the 2017 season.
Titans have agreed to terms with OL Byron Bell.
