Brendan Langley
Player News
The Seahawks signed Langley to their practice squad Wednesday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
The 2017 third-round pick didn't see game action during the 2019 regular season after he was cut by the Broncos out of training camp. Langley will add depth to the position, and with Malik Turner (concussion) and Jaron Brown (knee) dealing with injury, Langley could get a promotion to the 53-man roster should both be out for Sunday's playoff game against the Eagles.
The Broncos waived Langley on Friday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
The 2017 third-round pick was working to convert from cornerback to wide receiver in order to reignite his career, but did not show well enough to latch on to Denver's initial 53-man roster. He'll at least benefit from extra time to look for a gig elsewhere in the league leading up to Week 1.
Langley (concussion) cleared the league-mandated protocol Thursday, Ben Swanson of the Broncos' official site reports.
Langley was a full participant in Thursday's practice, and appears to have fully recovered from the head injury that caused him to sit out Monday's loss to the Raiders. Barring any setbacks, the 24-year-old is on track to suit up versus the Chargers in Week 17.
