Player News
Miller (ankle) was released off the Panthers' practice squad injury list with an injury settlement Saturday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Miller joined Carolina's practice squad ahead of Week 8 but suffered the ankle injury during his brief stint with the team and moved to the injured list. The 26-year-old hasn't seen game action since 2017 with the Texans.
Miller was placed on the Panthers' practice squad injury list on Monday, Max Henson of the Panthers' official site reports.
Miller was added to the practice unit prior to Week 8, but apparently suffered an ankle injury at some point over the last week. The severity of the issue is unknown at this time.
MIller signed with the Panthers' practice squad, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
Miller spent training camp with the Eagles and Browns, but was ultimately waived by both teams. He will now look to make an impression with the Panthers' practice unit.
Miller was released by the Browns on Saturday.
Miller was fighting for a depth role after joining the Browns three weeks into August but was unable to make the 53-man roster. Having already been waived by the Eagles earlier in training camp, the receiver will try to find another opportunity to join an NFL roster.
