Branden Albert
Player News
Albert was traded from the Dolphins to the Jaguars in exchange for a seventh-round pick in the 2018 draft, James Walker of ESPN reports.
Branden Albert (wrist) is back at practice Thursday.
This is huge as the Dolphins run game struggled against the 49ers in Week 12 due to the numerous offensive line injuries. The Dolphins now have to face the number one run defense in the Ravens so they must have a healthy offensive line or it could be tough sledding for running back Jay Ajayi.
Branden Albert (wrist) was limited on Wednesday.
Albert has been unable to give it a go each of the last two weeks but appear close to a return, which bodes well for the Dolphins pass protection and running game. With injuries all over the offensive line, this would be a serious boost for the Dolphins, who are riding a six-game winning streak.
Branden Albert said his wrist injury is "day by day" but he's feeling much better.
Good news for the Dolphins offense/offensive line. Sam Young would be in line to start if Albert is not ready to go for the next game on Sunday against the Ravens. Albert has been out since November 13th.
