Blidi Wreh-Wilson

The 31-year-old is a former third-round pick of the Titans who never developed into a starter on defense and has settled in as a special teamer after spending the last five seasons with Atlanta. Wreh-Wilson has 75 games of experience under his belt.

Wreh-Wilson took a significant step forward as a defensive player in 2019. He eclipsed 300 snaps on defense for the first time since 2015 and recorded 7 PBUs over 14 games (2 starts). He'll add depth to the Atlanta secondary while also playing a role on special teams.

The former Titan possesses just one interception across 60 career regular-season games, but this year he performed adequately while shouldering an enhanced defensive role. Wreh-Wilson played 50-plus percent of the defensive snaps in every outing between Weeks 14 and 17, providing him with his first four-game stretch with a majority defensive snap share since 2014. He collected the second-best total of his career in tackles, and Week 15 registered a personal-best four pass deflections during an upset win over the 49ers. The veteran defensive back and special-teams contributor is set to become a free agent, but there remains the possibility that Atlanta brings him back for a fifth season with the club.

Wreh-Wilson was able to log a full practice Friday after being limited earlier in the week. Barring any setbacks, he should take on a bigger role than usual in the Falcons' secondary, as Desmond Trufant (toe) will be sidelined.
