It is apparently not season-ending for the rotational lineman, with the Pack hoping he returns when first eligible in Week 17. Winn's loss thins the Packers' depth but is a loss they can withstand for the time being.

Now on the wrong side of 30, Winn missed all of 2019 with a torn tricpes. Knee injuries wiped out his 2017-18. Sadly, Winn is on his way out of the NFL.

Winn was already placed on injured reserve by the Broncos on Saturday, and this news suggests he may not be able to return following the eight games he'll sit out during the regular season. The team will likely update whether or not Winn will receive surgery, but at this point, his entire 2019 season seems to be in jeopardy.

Winn sustained the injury in the Broncos' preseason opener Thursday. The 30-year-old hasn't seen any regular-season NFL action since the 2016 season, when he recorded 19 total tackles and a fumble recovery over 16 games with Denver.
