2024 Player Outlook
Few have dogged Baker Mayfield more during his time with the Cleveland Browns and things looked even worse for him following his stint in Carolina but he caught a spark with the Rams at the end of the 2022 season and he was able to parlay that into a starting job with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following the retirement of Tom Brady. Almost nobody expected Mayfield to succeed and yet we were all proven wrong as he completed 64% of his passes for 4,044 yards with 28 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. For 2024, I see no reason why not to expect more of the same from Mayfield. He still has Mike Evans and Chris Godwin as his top receiving options and Rachaad White showed last year he can be an elite pass catcher out of the backfield. The only thing that would get in the way of another successful fantasy season out of Baker Mayfield would be Baker Mayfield himself if some of those bad habits from Cleveland return.
