Ravens re-signed S Anthony Levine.
34-year-old Levine has spent his entire nine-year career in Baltimore and is signing on for at least a 10th one. He’s a stalwart on special teams for the Ravens and only saw 3% of the defensive snaps in 2020.
Ravens re-signed S Anthony Levine to a one-year contract.
33 years old later this week, Levine has been the backbone of the Ravens' special teams units for years and has been in Baltimore since 2012.
Levine recorded 14 tackles (12 solo) across 16 regular-season contests in 2019.
Levine handled around 15-plus defensive snaps per contest to kick off the 2019 campaign, but that number dwindled below 10 snaps per game after Baltimore's mid-season acquisition of Marcus Peters. He's set to become an unrestricted free agent in March.
Levine (ankle) is active for Thursday's tilt against the Jets.
Levine was initially listed as questionable for Thursday's contest, but he's now been cleared to suit up. The veteran stands to play his usual key role in Baltimore's secondary.
