Andrew Gachkar

Gachkar is slotted in as the backup to OLB Kyle Wilbur on the strong side. He had 14 tackles in 16 games last season in a backup role, although he saw the bulk of his playing time on special teams.

Gachkar reportedly signed a two-year, $5.5 million deal with the Cowboys after he was a Charger for the past four seasons. He has played in all but one game over the past four seasons, which should bring some stability to an unstable linebacker situation in Dallas. The Cowboys will likely pursue another linebacker this offseason, but Gachkar is poised to fight for a prominent role in the Dallas front seven.

The knee issue continues to be a problem and in the two games since the bye week, he\'s seen fewer snaps on the field. His absence from the field this week won\'t have too big of an impact, at least not enough for anyone to notice.
