Adam Gettis

Gettis finally saw some action in Week 12, playing 56 snaps on offense and four on special teams, but was not active in Week 13. The Giants are not deep on the offensive line at guard, so this move is somewhat surprising, especially with the team taking on division rival Dallas in Week 14.

With some uncertainties and injuries on the offensive line, the team is promoting Gettis from the practice squad. He is in line to see some time on Monday, but at the very least, he serves as depth at the position.

Gettis played in just one game for the Giants this past season. The former fifth-round selection will provide depth on the offensive line.

Gets was a Giant until November 4th when he was released and then signed with the Raiders. He is now back on the New York 53-man roster as Big Blue is dealing with a shortness of bodies along the offensive line at the moment. With him being so familiar with the offense already he could be ready to plug in this week if necessary.
